A Taste of Chile

This Sunday, the 26 of September, will be a big day for us. Our wonderful church, First Baptist Tucker, will be hosting a fund-raiser for us called “A Taste of Chile.” It will be an evening of fun, games, Chilean foods, and a silent auction. A little something for everyone in the family!

First of all, I want to say thank you in advance to FBC Tucker and all those who have rallied behind us to make this possible. It is a blessing to see so much support for our ministry. It is an encouragement to know that you all believe in us and in what God is doing in our lives.

Second, I want to encourage everyone who is able to come! It will be a great time of fellowship and a time to learn a little about Chile and the Chilean people.

When: Sunday, September 26 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
Where: Tucker First Baptist (Intersection of Lavista and Main in Tucker)

Tonight in Missions, the preschoolers are making rice pudding (something people in Chile like to make and eat). We wonder if you will have rice pudding next Sunday evening at your fund-raiser.

That sounds like fun! Can you email me the recipe you’re using? Blake and I are speaking to a couple of childrens mission groups and that might be something we could make with them or take along for them to taste. I’m not sure if we’ll have it Sunday night. Our church has been so great about keeping us in the loop enough, but not overwhelming us with every detail.
